The recent Independent Examination of the Battle CP Neighbourhood Plan resulted in some recommended modifications. Those modifications have been accepted by both Rother District Council (RDC) and Battle Town Council, and as a result of this RDC have made the decision to take the Plan to Referendum. The Referendum is scheduled for 16th September 2021
With a positive vote, RDC will formally “make “ (adopt) the Plan at their meeting on 18th October. From then on, the Battle CP Neighbourhood Plan will have legal force in determining planning permissions granted by RDC, consolidating the policies and protection for our unique parish.
