The evolution of a Neighbourhood Plan from it’s inception (someone thinks ‘our area should have one’) through to being ‘made’ (where it is followed in planning applications) is broken down into clearly defined stages, these are referred to as Regulations. Public consultation on the Battle CP Neighbourhood Plan was organised by the Steering Group, between January and February 2020

Battle Town Council (the ‘qualifying body’) submitted their Plan Proposal to Rother District Council (the ‘Local Planning Authority’) in November 2020.

Rother District Council carried out their formal consultation between Friday 4 December 2020 and Friday 29 January 2021.

An Independent Examiner has been appointed, and the Regulation 15 Submission Plan, plus representations from the Regulation 16 consultation and comments from RDC and BTC have been passed to the Independent Examiner.
